To all the mothers who struggle to keep themselves and their children safe.

To all the mothers who go hungry to feed their starving children.

To all the mothers who walk miles every day to get their children water.

To all the mothers who don’t have a roof over their heads and freeze just to keep their children warm.

To all the mothers who act as a human shield for their children to not feel the attack.

To all the mothers who fight to send their children to school.

To all the mothers who stand up for equal rights, equality and a better future for their children.

To all the mothers who work tirelessly to create a better life for their children.

To all the mothers who give their children up so that they can have a better life.

To all the mothers who do everything they can to make their children’s lives better.

These are the women that I’m celebrating on Mother’s Day. These are the mothers that need our help. Another day goes by where our country spends millions on cards and flowers when there are people in need.

If you can, give a little bit to charity this mothers day. Visit Unicef Gifts.
