Cherished Moments

I spent last Christmas feeling pretty down and on Good Friday I’m feeling the same. All I want out of life is someone to share moments with. These moments are so important. These are the memories that make life so special. All the day to day stuff doesn’t matter, jobs, houses, cars, money, none of it really matters if you’re not enjoying life with the ones you love on special days like Easter.

I wasted a lot of my time on someone who didn’t want to share these moments with me. When I was painting eggs and making an Easter tree, he’d find a random job or other that needed doing. When I lit the fire pit and opened a bottle of wine, he’d want to watch tv. I spent a lot of time on my own, pretty lonely. Here’s a big tip for you… your relationship shouldn’t leave you feeling lonely. Your loved ones should want to spend time with you. Note to self… never again!

So put your phone down and grab some eggs, sit and paint them with some children, yours, your nieces and nephews, your friends, your grandchildren, whoever they might be. Have a lovely time over Easter doing lovely things with the people that you love.

I’ll be having an Easter egg hunt with my two little ones. My Mum and Sister are coming over to sit in the garden and lots of chocolate will be eaten! Happy Easter! Much love x
